Town center

Brentwood doesn't have a historic main street. Its commercial core runs along Franklin Road (US-31) around Maryland Way, including the Hill Center mixed-use development and the Maryland Farms office park. Historic homes like Ravenswood (1825) and the Cool Springs House are preserved inside city parks.

Parks and the outdoors

  • Crockett Park, home of the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater and the free summer concert series.
  • Marcella Vivrette Smith Park, about 400 acres on the former Ravenswood farm with more than six miles of trails.
  • Granny White Park, about 32 acres.
  • Maryland Farms Greenway, part of a citywide trail network.

Getting around

Three I-65 interchanges (Moores Lane, Concord Road and Old Hickory Boulevard), plus Franklin Road and Wilson Pike. Downtown Nashville is about 11 miles north.

Homes

Mostly single-family homes on large lots, a direct result of the city's zoning. Expect larger yards and fewer attached homes than in neighboring cities.

Events

The summer concert series at Crockett Park, BrentFest in June, and the July 4th "Red, White and Boom" celebration.
